Sam O'Krent, Chairman
The World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) revealed its new board chairman and executive committee members in a virtual meeting on December 15, 2023. Sam O’Krent, CEO of O’Krent Floors in San Antonio, Texas, is the 60th chairman, succeeding Dean Howell of Moda Floors & Interiors.
“I’m honored to lead the WFCA board,” O’Krent said. “I look forward to working with this talented group as we navigate industry changes and challenges. My focus is on uniting our members and addressing these challenges innovatively.”
O’Krent, with over 41 years in his family’s business, pledges to continue the legacy of quality service at O’Krent Floors. The WFCA also announced the 2024 Executive Committee and welcomed Darren Harrison to the board. WFCA CEO, Scott Humphrey, expressed confidence in the new leadership and their ability to drive the industry forward.
